About TER MP

TER MP is a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl isobutyl ether. TER MP is compatible with alkyd acrylic resins, hydrocarbon resins and cyclohexanone aldehyde resins, and it is also soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, glycol ethers and acetates.

Where TER MP is used:

TER MP is a chlorinated binding agent used in a variety of different applications. In particular, TER MP is used for production of:

  • physically drying coatings on iron and steel,
  • non-ferrous metals,
  • mineral substrates,
  • anti-corrosion coatings,
  • concrete,
  • fiber-cement,
  • flame-retardant coatings on non-combustible building materials,
  • ship and container paints,
  • printing inks,
  • and paints for street markings.
